Welcome to the Swierk Lab!

The Swierk Lab conducts behavioral ecology research with an emphasis on sexual selection, reproductive ecology, and conservation. Our research is focused on identifying the causes and consequences of mate choice and competition, particularly in species affected by habitat loss or alteration. We work in the northeastern USA and the Neotropics to better understand how species have adapted to natural and anthropogenic constraints.
